Melodica Music & Dance Academy is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing team.

We are particularly interested in fresh graduates and emerging creative talent who have a strong eye for design, enjoy experimenting with new ideas and want an opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic, creative business.

You will help bring our brands, campaigns and ideas to life through engaging visual content across social media, digital marketing, print, events and other business communications.

We are not looking for years of professional experience. We are looking for creativity, originality, strong design fundamentals and a genuine passion for visual communication.

Whether your portfolio comes from university projects, internships, freelance work or personal creative projects, we would love to see it.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Concept Development

• Develop original visual ideas and creative concepts for marketing campaigns and business requirements.
• Translate creative briefs into engaging, visually appealing designs.
• Contribute fresh ideas and creative approaches to campaigns and promotional activities.
• Explore different layouts, styles, typography and visual treatments to communicate messages effectively.

Digital & Social Media Design

• Create graphics for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, websites and digital advertising.
• Design social media posts, stories, promotional banners and campaign visuals.
• Adapt creative concepts into different sizes and formats for digital platforms.
• Stay informed about current social media trends and emerging design styles.

Branding & Marketing Materials

• Support graphic design requirements for Melodica and its group of companies.
• Produce artwork for brochures, flyers, posters, presentations, events, in-store displays and promotional materials.
• Apply brand guidelines consistently across different creative projects.
• Prepare accurate, high-quality artwork suitable for digital and print production.

AI & Creative Technology

• Explore AI-powered design and creative tools to support idea generation and content creation.
• Use AI tools responsibly to improve creative workflows and efficiency.
• Stay curious about new technologies, design applications and creative techniques.
• Combine AI-assisted tools with strong design fundamentals and original creative thinking.

Video & Motion Graphics

• Support the creation of short-form videos, reels and animated social media content.
• Assist with basic video editing, transitions, text overlays and motion graphics.
• Develop additional skills in video, animation and multimedia content creation.

Collaboration & Creative Development

• Work closely with the Marketing team to understand design briefs and campaign objectives.
• Manage assigned creative tasks and deliver work within agreed deadlines.
• Respond positively to feedback and refine designs to achieve the required standards.
• Continuously develop your design skills, technical knowledge and creative capabilities.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

• Recent graduate or junior designer with 0–2 years of experience .
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Fine Arts or a related creative discipline preferred.
• Applications from talented self-taught designers with strong portfolios are also welcome.
• Internship, freelance, university or personal project experience is acceptable.

Creative & Technical Skills

• A portfolio demonstrating creativity, originality and a good understanding of visual design.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, or comparable professional design tools.
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Canva, Figma or similar applications is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of typography, colour, composition, layout and visual hierarchy.
• Interest in social media design, digital marketing and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools is an advantage.
• Basic video editing or motion graphics skills are desirable but not essential.
