Are you an expert in SAP S/4HANA architecture with deep technical know-how and a passion for innovation I'm looking for an SAP S/4HANA Technical, Basis & Security Architect to join my client in Abu Dhabi.

This is a strategic role, central to shaping and governing the technical landscape of their enterprise-wide SAP environment.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable SAP architecture, covering system integrations, Basis operations, and SAP security.

The role also extends to driving enablement of advanced SAP solutions including SAP BTP, Fiori, GRC, Cloud ALM, and testing automation tools like Tricentis.

Key Responsibilities

???? Technical Architecture & Basis Oversight

• Define the end-to-end technical architecture for SAP S/4HANA across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid models.
• Lead the design and deployment of development, quality assurance, and production SAP landscapes.
• Manage Basis operations including system installations, upgrades, transport management, and performance tuning.
• Establish and implement sizing strategies, high-availability setups, and disaster recovery plans in collaboration with infrastructure teams.
• Ensure seamless system integration with legacy platforms, third-party tools, and middleware (e.g., PI/PO, SAP BTP, API Hub).

???? Security & Compliance

• Design and enforce SAP security architecture and access controls.
• Support governance and risk compliance through SAP GRC frameworks.
• Maintain compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.

????️ Innovation & Enablement

• Enable Cloud ALM capabilities and automation tools such as Tricentis for testing.
• Integrate SAP with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and leverage process intelligence tools like Signavio.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight across SAP transformation projects.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA technical architecture, Basis administration, and SAP security.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP, Fiori, GRC, Cloud ALM, and integrations via PI/PO and APIs.
• Strong understanding of system sizing, performance optimization, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Experience with large-scale SAP deployments and enterprise integration tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Tricentis, Signavio).
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage stakeholders at all levels.
