Full job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Architecture and Interior Design Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical documentation, fit-out drawings, and detail drawings for interior design projects. Additionally, the draftsman will prepare FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) related documentation, a comprehensive specifications book detailing the furniture, materials, and finishes used in the projects, and all necessary Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material lists, and execution drawings package for site works. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of our projects, which include both office and villa interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive technical documentation for interior design and fit-out projects.
• Develop detailed fit-out drawings and detail drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Prepare FF&E documentation, including detailed specifications of furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes.
• Develop a specifications book for each project, outlining all details related to furniture, materials, and finishes.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material lists, and execution drawings packages for site works.
• Collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Review and modify drawings and documentation based on feedback from clients and team members.
• Ensure that all drawings and documents comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the accuracy of drawings and their implementation on-site.
• Utilize CAD software and other relevant tools to produce high-quality drawings and documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in interior design projects, with a focus on creating technical documentation, detailed drawings, FF&E specifications, BOQ, and material lists.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other design tools.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles, building codes, and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and high-quality drawings and documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Prior relevant work experience is mandatory.
• Available to join the team immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
