Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL, Java, microservices architecture, database design, and data modelling.-- Must Manage UAE client engagements, act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, handle escalations, and ensure strong client relationships and satisfaction.-- Must Oversee multiple projects, application support, incident management, and project delivery while providing technical guidance on Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Microservices, database design, and integrations.--- Must Support RFIs, RFPs, solution proposals, effort estimation, technical presentations, solution architecture, and collaborate with sales teams to drive new business opportunities.-- Must

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to manage client engagements across the UAE, providing techno-functional leadership, project delivery oversight, and effective client relationship management.

The candidate will work primarily from Dubai office, visiting client premises as required. The role involves close coordination with technical and functional teams in Qatar and Chennai to ensure effective project delivery, application support, and client satisfaction.

The candidate will also work closely with the Business Development Manager in Dubai to support new business opportunities, including RFIs, RFPs, technical proposals, solution design, and effort estimation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client and Account Management

• Manage client engagements across the UAE, building strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.
• Act as a key point of contact for client requirements, technical discussions, delivery coordination, and escalations.
• Understand client business needs and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution of issues.
• Visit client premises as required for meetings, requirement discussions, solution presentations, and issue resolution.

2. Project Delivery and Application Support

• Manage multiple projects and concurrent client engagements, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Coordinate with teams in Qatar and Chennai to manage project execution, application support, incidents, change requests (CRs), enhancements, and production issues.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, timelines, and agreed service commitments.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between UAE clients and distributed technical teams.
• Ensure effective escalation management and timely resolution of client issues.

3. Technical and Functional Leadership

• Understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Provide technical guidance on Oracle PL/SQL, Java, microservices architecture, and application integrations.
• Review solution designs, database architecture, data modelling, and integrations to ensure scalable and maintainable applications.
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements, automation, process optimisation, and new capabilities.
• Promote engineering best practices, quality standards, performance improvements, and effective technical documentation.

4. Business Development and Presales Support

• Work closely with the Business Development/Sales Manager in Dubai to support new business opportunities and client engagements.
• Support the preparation of RFIs, RFPs, and other tender responses, including technical and functional inputs.
• Understand prospective clients' business and technical requirements and contribute to solution proposals.
• Assist with solution architecture, technical presentations, effort estimation, resource planning, project timelines, and implementation approaches.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to explain proposed solutions and address technical queries.
• Coordinate with the Qatar and Chennai teams to obtain the required technical inputs, estimates, and solution details for proposals.

5. Team Coordination and Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams across locations to ensure alignment on client priorities and delivery commitments.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and effective communication between client-facing and technical teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, service quality, client satisfaction, and operational processes.
• Mentor team members and encourage collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in software development, technical leadership, project delivery, or technical account management.
• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
• Mandatory: Strong insurance domain knowledge , preferably in insurance applications, policy administration, claims, or related systems.
• Strong understanding of Oracle PL/SQL, Java, microservices architecture, database design, and data modelling.
• Proven experience managing client engagements, projects, or parallel delivery activities.
• Experience in application support, incident management, change requests, enhancements, and production issue resolution.
• Strong stakeholder management, client communication, problem-solving, and escalation management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical functional and technical solutions.
• Experience supporting presales activities, RFIs, RFPs, technical proposals, and effort estimation.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with distributed teams across multiple locations.
• PMP and/or Scrum certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, planning, and coordination skills.
