External - Client Application Engineer- Health Information Systems (m/f/x)

Client Application Engineer – Middle East, Dubai

Solventum is seeking a Client Application Engineer to support its Health Information Systems global applications engineering initiatives in the Middle East. The role focuses on collaborating with US‑based technical teams and local clients to deliver advanced payment cycle, clinical, AI, NLP, and speech‑recognition solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with US and global development teams to architect and develop solutions that meet Middle East client expectations.
• Act as liaison between local teams and Application Engineering and Core Development teams located in the USA and globally.
• Identify, track, and communicate gaps in the product portfolio and delivery requirements to product development teams to satisfy local market needs.
• Coordinate and collaborate with global product, implementation, and engineering teams throughout the product life cycle, creating delivery materials and training on existing and emerging solutions.
• Provide deep technical product knowledge support to internal and external stakeholders and support marketing in developing customer case studies and technical white papers.
• Create compelling commercial and technical documentation that illustrates Solventum’s value proposition and competitive advantage for Middle East solutions and client needs.
• Support sales with detailed Statements of Work and other contractual materials tailored for the Middle East Region.
• Design, implement, and manage deployments that meet local client regulations and requirements, including multi‑tier architectures and implementation procedures.
• Support and manage presales and RFP processes, writing and compiling commercial responses and coordinating RFP activities with the local team.
• Engage customers by creating and delivering product demonstrations, including product overviews and customer evaluations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions in hyperconverged, virtual, and cloud environments.
• Experience integrating data center technologies, management, and security software, ensuring application performance SLAs are exceeded.
• Ability to interpret technical needs and communicate them to clients and internal resources of various technical skill levels.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, customer orientation, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with relevant experience in the healthcare software industry in delivery or support roles.
• Experience supporting clinical or revenue cycle solutions in private, public, government, or military environments.
• Functional understanding of health care interoperability and data flow, including HL‑7 v2.x, FHIR, OAuth, etc.
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and organizational accountability.
• Exceptional client relationship skills with the ability to find creative solutions and manage difficult situations diplomatically.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, presentation skills, and training abilities.
• Travel: Up to 50% global and domestic travel, including travel to the US.
