Workshop Manager

Resposibilites:

• Manage day-to-day workshop operations and maintenance activities.
• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance for vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Lead and coordinate technicians, mechanics, and workshop staff.
• Ensure timely repair of equipment to minimize downtime.
• Monitor workshop productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, company procedures, and manufacturer standards.
• Control maintenance costs and manage the workshop budget effectively.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with project, fleet, and operations teams to ensure equipment availability.
• Liaise with external vendors for specialized repairs and services.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop performance and equipment reliability.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in workshop or fleet maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, and maintenance planning.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, workshop operations, and spare parts management.
• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
