Role Description

The Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ain, responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring EHS policies and procedures in alignment with DOH/HAAD and local regulatory requirements. This role includes conducting regular risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental performance. The EHS Manager oversees incident and accident investigations, prepares reports, and leads corrective and preventive actions. Daily responsibilities also involve coordinating and delivering training programs, promoting a safety culture, maintaining documentation and records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including policy development and implementation.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health principles and practices, with the ability to assess and manage workplace health risks.
• Proficiency in Accident Investigation, root-cause analysis, and incident reporting to support effective corrective actions.
• Experience in designing and delivering Training related to EHS, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• DOH or HAAD license, or eligibility to obtain one, and familiarity with UAE regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive safety culture.
• Proven ability to work on-site in multidisciplinary environments, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively to EHS-related emergencies.
