Senior Oracle PL/SQL & - Data Integration Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Database & Report Solution Design

Design and build enterprise-grade database solutions that meet complex business and technical requirements.

Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting solutions, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

Create and manage stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages using Oracle PL/SQL to support business logic  and data processing needs.

Build and optimize data models and schema designs to support scalable and maintainable database architectures.

2. Data Integration & Warehouse Development

Design, develop, and maintain data integration and data warehouse solutions to consolidate data from complex and  disparate source systems.

Gather and analyze data integration requirements from business and technical stakeholders, translating them into  scalable and efficient technical solutions.

Perform data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment activities to ensure high-quality, reliable data pipelines.

Support the development and maintenance of ETL workflows and data flows across multiple platforms and  environments.

3. Performance Tuning & Query Optimization

Conduct performance tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and data flows to ensure optimal system  responsiveness and efficiency.

Apply advanced SQL and PL/SQL techniques for bulk data processing, minimizing resource consumption and maximizing  throughput.

Identify, diagnose, and resolve data-related issues, bottlenecks, and performance degradation in a timely and  systematic manner.

Monitor and proactively maintain the health and performance of database environments in production and non- production settings.

4. Data Analysis & Insight Generation

Perform in-depth data analysis across large and complex datasets to surface meaningful business insights.

Build and deliver data reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making across business functions.

Validate data integrity and accuracy throughout the data lifecycle, from ingestion through to reporting outputs.

Interpret data patterns and trends to provide recommendations aligned with business objectives.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate effectively with technology and business teams to understand project requirements and deliver against  shared goals.

Participate in technical discussions, solution reviews, and design sessions with cross-functional teams.

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Contribute to documentation of technical designs, data dictionaries, and solution architectures to support knowledge  transfer and maintainability.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

- 5 to 7 years of hands-on professional experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and data integration engineering.

- Strong skills in writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries and stored procedures in production  environments.

- Demonstrated experience in bulk data processing using advanced SQL and PL/SQL techniques including BULK COLLECT,  FORALL, and exception handling.

- Proficiency in data modeling and schema design for both transactional and analytical database systems.

- Expertise in gathering and analyzing data integration requirements and translating them into scalable, maintainable  technical solutions.

- Ability to build and deliver reports and generate data-driven insights aligned to business requirements.

- Strong aptitude for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving data-related issues efficiently and systematically.

- Proven experience in performance tuning of data flows, ETL processes, and complex SQL queries.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional  teams.

- Experience in the airlines or aviation domain is preferred.

- Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and AWS cloud services is preferred.

- Proficiency in English; strong written and verbal communication skills required for a client-facing, on-site engagement.

Salary: AED 10,000 – 13,000 per month (based on experience and skill fit)
