Chef de Partie - Pan-Asian concept (Kuwait)

A 5-star luxury hotel in Kuwait is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie – Pan-Asian Concept to join its specialty kitchen team. The ideal candidate must have strong relevant experience in Pan-Asian cuisine and be able to prepare high-quality dishes with consistency, accuracy, and attention to presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present Pan-Asian dishes according to the outlet’s standards

• Maintain consistency, quality, taste, portioning, and presentation across assigned kitchen sections

• Handle daily mise en place, food preparation, and service requirements efficiently

• Support menu items, specials, and signature dishes for the Pan-Asian concept

• Coordinate closely with the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, and wider kitchen brigade during service

• Supervise and guide Demi Chef de Partie, Commis, and junior kitchen team members when required

• Monitor stock levels, food rotation, storage, wastage, and cleanliness in the assigned section

• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and HACCP standards are maintained at all times

• Report equipment issues, operational concerns, or quality gaps to senior chefs promptly

• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Requirements

• Must have strong relevant experience in Pan-Asian cuisine

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie in a similar concept

• Prior experience in a 5-star luxury hotel or high-end restaurant is strongly preferred

• Good knowledge of Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, wok preparation, and modern plating

• Strong attention to detail, food presentation, and consistency

• Able to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Good teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and proper storage procedures

• Flexible to work according to business needs, including weekends and holidays
