Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Technical Support professional to join our dynamic team. As an IT Technical Support staff member, you will be the first point of contact to address and resolve technical issues faced by the employees. You will work closely with other IT staff to provide comprehensive assistance to ensure all systems are operating seamlessly. You will troubleshoot hardware and software problems, conduct system upgrades, and perform routine maintenance of IT infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and assistance to employees for IT issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware related problems effectively.
- Manage installations, configurations, and upgrades of IT systems and equipment.
- Document all reported issues and resolutions in the ticketing system accurately.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Assist in deploying new applications and systems across the organization.
- Train and guide end-users on basic troubleshooting and IT system usage.
- Collaborate with other IT team members for complex technical escalations.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in IT support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices in IT operations.
- Conduct regular backups and ensure data integrity across the network.
- Participate in the development and testing of new IT support methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT technical support or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware, operating systems, and networking essentials.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to continuously update skills and adapt to new technology trends.
