Auto Claims Adjuster II

Responsibilities

• Verify coverage and investigate liability, damages, and the scope of loss for assigned auto claims
• Evaluate claim facts, determine claim value, and negotiate settlements
• Investigate multi-vehicle accidents and complex loss scenarios
• Manage an assigned inventory of claims independently while maintaining quality and productivity
• Provide proactive, transparent, and timely communication to customers, claimants, and agents
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years of prior claims handling experience
• Ability to independently manage an inventory of auto claims
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage and liability investigations
• Ability to obtain and maintain required state adjuster licenses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to work shifts between 7a-7p central time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience investigating complex or multi-vehicle accidents
• Demonstrated leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in a customer-focused claims environment with full claim ownership
