This position will manage the day to day activities for key distributed labels, working alongside label clients to develop artists and promote content at the industry's leading independent music distributor and label services company.  The candidate must be Dubai based and have strong passion for and knowledge of the music distribution scene and the independent cross-genre music market, an understanding of digital retail platforms, release requirements and opportunities, a creative spirit, and solid technical capabilities.

What you'll do:

DSP Strategy & Campaign Management:

• Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end digital marketing campaigns for new releases, with a core focus on DSP performance.
• Secure and optimize key promotional placements across all DSPs, including playlist adds (editorial and algorithmic), homepage features, new release banners, and programmatic advertising.
• Serve as the primary internal and external point of contact for all DSP partners, building and maintaining strong, productive relationships.
• Lead catalog optimization initiatives to maximize the long-term performance, discoverability, and consumption of both frontline and catalog releases across all DSPs

Marketing Initiatives Development

• Propose and pilot innovative marketing tactics to optimize the exposure of our new releases and maximize catalog potential.
• Stay ahead of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in the digital music landscape, especially new features and promotional opportunities on DSPs.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Lead the digital marketing planning process for assigned projects, presenting strategies and results to the relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with the Label Management Team to enhance the visibility and impact of priority releases across all DSPs.

Team Development

• Provide active support and guidance to direct team members, facilitating problem resolution and implementing processes that enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Act as a role model by demonstrating best practices for effective communication and pitching approaches with DSPs.

Who you are:

• 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 3+ years focused specifically on music marketing at a label, distributor, or DSP.
• Proven, demonstrable track record of successfully launching and managing music campaigns that resulted in significant growth in streams or playlist placements.
• Experience working within a label, artist management or distribution system managing releases, projects or relationships
• Established relationships with key contacts at major DSP is a significant advantage.
• Deep understanding of the pitching tools, editorial workflows, algorithmic levers, and promotional opportunities across all major DSPs.
• ⁠Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret streaming data and performance insights to optimize campaign execution and support strategic decision-making.
• Knowledge of social marketing, online video platforms, digital advertising, and online
• promotional outlets
• High level of awareness and passion for local independent labels, artists and the Arabic music scene
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in Arabic and English
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results through coaching and mentorship.
