AI Tutor - Sinhala

Responsibilities
- Use proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, recordings, and inputs on multilingual audio clips and speech samples
- Support the delivery of high-quality curated audio data ensuring accurate linguistic and prosodic details
- Collaborate with technical staff to improve AI ability to handle speech modulation, accent variation, and noise
- Work with technical staff to improve annotation tools for efficient audio workflows
Requirements
- Native proficiency in Sinhala with exposure to diverse accents and dialects
- Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) with clear vocal delivery
- Strong auditory perception to identify nuances in speech, pronunciation, and intonation
- Demonstrated ability to transcribe audio with high accuracy across varying audio quality
- Strong comprehension skills and ability to make independent judgments on ambiguous audio material
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in linguistics, speech sciences, or cognitive science
- Experience working with speech/audio datasets or AI training data
- Professional experience in voice work, voice acting, or podcasting
- Portfolio of voice samples or annotated transcripts
