LAND SURVEYOR

8am-5pm Job Title: Land Surveyor Company: Star Services LLC Location: Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates Contract Details: Full-time oil and gas industry 8am-5pm Star Services LLC is a leading provider of engineering and technical services to the oil and gas industry in the United Arab Emirates. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Land Surveyor you will be responsible for conducting surveys to determine and document the precise location and measurements of land features boundaries and structures. You will work closely with project managers engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of surveying tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct land surveys using a variety of surveying equipment and techniques including GPS total stations and levels - Prepare and maintain accurate survey records including field notes sketches and digital data - Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports and maps - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine survey needs and provide technical support - Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and safety standards - Train and supervise junior surveyors and survey technicians - Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability - Identify and resolve any surveying issues or discrepancies that may arise during a project - Communicate effectively with clients contractors and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any concerns or questions. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in surveying geomatics or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience as a land surveyor in the oil and gas industry - Proficient in using surveying equipment and software including GPS total stations and AutoCAD - Knowledge of relevant laws regulations and safety standards related to land surveying - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
