Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA/QC with a strong background in civil and infrastructure construction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of ensuring quality control and quality assurance on construction projects as well as a thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles in the construction industry with a focus on civil and infrastructure projects

- Strong knowledge of quality control principles practices and procedures

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 9001 and ASTM

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders

- Detail-oriented and able to identify and resolve quality issues

- Proven leadership and supervisory skills

- Experience with quality control software and tools is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures for construction projects

- Monitor and assess the quality of materials workmanship and processes on site

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards

- Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformities and work with project teams to resolve them

- Review and approve quality control documents including inspection reports test results and quality plans

- Coordinate with project managers engineers and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met

- Provide guidance and training to project teams on quality control processes and procedures

- Participate in project meetings and communicate quality-related updates and issues to stakeholders

- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and regulations and ensure compliance on all projects

- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues

- Develop and maintain quality control records and documentation for each project

- Mentor and supervise junior QA/QC staff as needed.
