Sonographer (HRD/JDF/113)

Ain Al Khaleej Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our diagnostic imaging team. We are looking for a compassionate professional with strong technical expertise and experience in both General Ultrasound and Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Ultrasound .

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality general and OB/GYN ultrasound examinations.
• Assess patient history and clinical indications to determine appropriate imaging protocols.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and safety throughout all procedures.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies and quality standards.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies, radiation safety (where applicable), and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with Radiologists, Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Surgeons, Emergency Physicians, and other multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and operated according to established protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
• Valid DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi) License or Eligibility as a Sonographer.
• Minimum of 4years of hospital experience in General and OB/GYN ultrasound.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or on-call duties as required.
