Social Media Specialist

As a Social Media Specialist, you will be an integral member of our marketing team, responsible for elevating our brand’s online presence through compelling content and strategic engagement. As part of our team in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, you'll work in an ONSITE environment collaborating closely with creative and commercial units to drive our digital communication goals across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
Responsibilities
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content tailored for diverse social media platforms.
- Write attention-grabbing captions and adapt tone to suit each channel's audience.
- Design and edit graphics, short-form videos, and visual assets using up-to-date digital tools.
- Develop and maintain content calendars, ensuring consistent and timely posts that align with broader marketing strategies.
- Monitor platform trends, algorithm updates, and leverage them to optimize content performance.Engage actively with followers by responding to comments, messages, and nurturing community growth.
- Utilize scheduling/management tools for efficient workflow and campaign execution.
- Track key performance indicators and extract actionable insights from engagement, reach, and CTR analytics.
- Collaborate with team members to generate campaign ideas and ensure brand consistency across channels.
Must have requirements
- Proven experience in content creation and copywriting with a portfolio of social media work.
- Ability to write engaging captions and adapt content tone for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X.
- Hands-on proficiency with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, or Meta Business Suite.
- Demonstrated skills in creating/editing graphics or short-form videos for social media.
- Experience reading and interpreting social media analytics (engagement, reach, CTR) to inform strategy.
- Track record of planning, managing, and executing content calendars aligned with marketing objectives.
- Up-to-date awareness of platform trends, viral content, and algorithm changes.
- Strong community management skills: engagement with followers, handling DMs, and driving interaction.
Nice to have requirements
- Basic photography or video production skills.
- Experience running paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop).
- Background in influencer marketing or partnership collaborations.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and application in social content.
- Arabic language proficiency.
