Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer with strong site safety experience in substation/construction projects. DEWA Substation Approval is mandatory for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE procedures at project sites.
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits and risk assessments.
- Monitor safe working practices and compliance.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
- Investigate incidents and prepare HSE reports.
- Ensure compliance with project and DEWA safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, consultants and DEWA representatives.
Requirements
- Engineering qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Relevant HSE experience in construction/substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of site safety, risk assessment and HSE procedures.
- Good understanding of UAE construction safety requirements.
- Valid DEWA Substation Approval – MANDATORY.
- UAE project experience preferred.
