Head of Marketing and Events, Sustainability, Abu Dhabi

About the Head of Marketing and Events Role

The Head of Marketing and Events will lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing, brand and events strategies aligned with the organisation’s mission and global ambitions.
Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering high‑impact marketing campaigns.
• Strengthening the organisation’s international brand and reputation.
• Leading the planning and delivery of major global, regional and UAE events.
• Managing the annual marketing and events calendar.
• Overseeing brand identity, positioning and guidelines.
• Managing agencies, suppliers, consultants and strategic partners.
• Monitoring campaign and event performance and using insights to improve results.
• Leading and developing a growing marketing and events team.

The Ideal Head of Marketing and Events Candidate

You will bring at least ten years’ experience in senior marketing, brand and events roles, with a strong track record of delivering major campaigns and high‑profile events.
Experience working with a global foundation, prize, NGO, philanthropic organisation or purpose‑led initiative would be particularly valuable. Candidates from major international events platforms, government‑related organisations or leading global brands will also be considered.
You should have:

• Strong marketing, branding and event management experience.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience managing agencies, suppliers and complex budgets.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial and hands‑on leadership style.
• The resilience to work at pace within a high‑profile environment.
• A genuine interest in sustainability and global impact.
