What You Will Do

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot EV systems, including high‑voltage components and battery systems.
• Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines and EV safety standards.
• Complete repairs the first time, minimizing vehicle downtime.
• Perform vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reporting.
• Follow all high‑voltage safety procedures, workshop processes, and 5S standards.
• Ensure efficient use of parts, tools, and workshop resources.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of EV technology and the latest automotive innovations.

Required Skills to Be Successful

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and automotive systems.
• Understanding of EV technology, battery systems, and charging systems preferred.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret technical manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

What Equips You for the Role

• Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC, or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, General Repair Technician, or EV Technician.
• Hands‑on experience in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
• Experience working on Electric Vehicles (EVs) or Hybrid Vehicles is highly preferred.
• EV or High‑Voltage (HV) certification is an advantage.
• Experience using manufacturer diagnostic tools and repair manuals.
• Good understanding of electrical, electronic, and high‑voltage vehicle systems.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.
