Director, Clinical Excellence

Responsibilities
- Lead clinical excellence managers within their assigned region
- Collaborate with capital sales teams to expand product footprints
- Participate in the sales process for new and expansion opportunities
- Sell clinical programs and EMR integration to support customer success
- Ensure the clinical excellence team executes quality customer business reviews
- Provide in-person and virtual support to customers, partners, and team members
- Engage in business, clinical, operational, and financial action planning
- Manage relationships with healthcare providers, professional organizations, and regulatory agencies
- Lead the clinical excellence team through transitioning problem accounts
- Partner with Sales Effectiveness to execute training programs for medical devices
- Travel up to 75% of the time to support regional needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Master's degree (MSN or MBA)
- 5+ years of nursing leadership experience in healthcare or medical device settings
- Proficiency in compliance regulations and standards
- Experience developing business plans and ROI
- Deep understanding of health system accreditation processes
- Strong process and quality improvement background
- Ability to translate data and analytics into action plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Experience in the medical device industry
- Functional knowledge of dialysis or relevant medical technologies
- Advanced nursing certifications (ACNO, CNO, VP of Patient Care Services, or DON experience)
- Certified Nurse Executive (CNE) or NEA-BC
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
- Certified Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL)
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
