We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant - General Surgery to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is critical in delivering high-quality surgical care, leading complex procedures, and mentoring junior surgical staff within a state-of-the-art medical facility. Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic, open, and emergency surgeries.
  
• Lead preoperative assessments, intraoperative decision-making, and postoperative care management.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiologists, nurses, radiologists, and oncologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  
• Mentor and supervise surgical residents, fellows, and junior medical staff in clinical and procedural settings.
  
• Participate in surgical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities.
  
• Contribute to the development and implementation of surgical protocols and best practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with full registration with the relevant medical council.
  
• Fellowship in General Surgery (e.g., FRCS, FAMS, or equivalent) with documented surgical training and certification.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of post-fellowship experience in general surgery, including significant exposure to emergency, oncological, and minimally invasive procedures.
  
• Proven track record of clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and positive surgical outcomes.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and teaching abilities.
  
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and surgical documentation systems.
