Mechanical Engineer

A. Manage all plumbing activities and commissioning mechanical piping (fluid mechanics) such as chillers and water line.

B. Service and replace old or faulty equipment but not limited to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.

C. Supervise and execute maintenance for the factory building.

D. Coordinate and supervise welding section material procurement and labor coordination.

E. Adhere to all safety and performance regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Supervise technicians and participate in diagnosing, repairing, and inspecting breakdown problems. Read specifications of diagnosis on work performed and analyze the nature of repairing works and required accessories to carry out such maintenance.

Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods if it is deem required.

Carry out routine maintenance work and response to equipment faults.

Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly.

Carry out quality inspections on job sites.

Arrange the procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components.

Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems/ breakdowns and repairs.

Organize and direct maintenance shutdown and startup.

Develop maintenance strategies to help with the installation and commissioning guidelines.

Ensure there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns for plumbing and welding.

Develop and distribute work plan assignments and ensures timely completion.

Assign Technician for diagnosis of the requested repair and maintenance for plumbing and welding. Check the compliance of the work done by technicians for the safety and quality standards. Oversee the performance skills of technicians during maintenance and repair works.

Prepare and review of maintenance related documents.

Maintain data base of repair works and prepare reports relating to major breakdown repairs.

Prepare Service Order and process for approval.

Organize and develop the work scope for contractual projects and recommend preferred vendors. Perform project coordination in various maintenance projects such as Aerosol plant, machine installations and others.
