Governess (GCC Region, International Travel)

Position: Governess to the Private Family

Location: Confidential (GCC region, frequent international travel)

Employment Type: Full-time, live-out

Reports To: House Manager

Start Date: Immediate or by agreement

Compensation: Exceptional, tax‑free salary + accommodation, annual flights, medical insurance, and 30+ days paid leave

Role Summary: The Governess will oversee the children’s education, personal development, etiquette, and daily care, ensuring their intellectual, emotional, and cultural growth in line with both international standards and traditional values. This prestigious position requires discretion, professionalism, and experience in high‑profile households.

Profil

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily academic tutoring and create tailored curricula (British, American, or IB systems).
• Support entry into elite educational institutions; foster multilingual fluency.
• Teach etiquette, manners, and social protocol; encourage independence and emotional intelligence.
• Organize cultural activities, outings, and enrichment programs.
• Establish structured daily routines; oversee wardrobe and grooming.
• Collaborate with household staff; ensure seamless operations and care.
• Accompany the family during travel, ensuring educational continuity.
• Maintain open communication with the Sheikha and Chief of Staff; uphold strict confidentiality.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education, Child Development, or related field (formal Governess training preferred).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in UHNWI, royal, or diplomatic households.
• Native/fluent English (British English preferred); Arabic/French an advantage.
• Culturally aware, discreet, emotionally mature, calm under pressure.
• Impeccable presentation; loyalty and professionalism essential.
• Valid passport, ability to travel at short notice; First Aid & CPR certified; clean background check.
