Teller - Emiratized Role

The Teller plays a key role in delivering efficient and accurate banking services to customers at the branch. This position is responsible for processing cash and teller transactions securely, maintaining operational compliance, and supporting branch service excellence. The role contributes to customer satisfaction, operational accuracy, and achievement of key branch performance indicators.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cheque transactions, and foreign currency transactions accurately.
• Perform daily reconciliation of cash, valuables, and teller transactions to ensure operational accuracy.
• Deliver excellent customer service and support branch service quality and customer satisfaction targets.
• Promote and assist customers with FAB digital banking channels and self-service solutions.
• Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, operational risk, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify customer needs and refer potential sales opportunities to relevant branch teams.
• Report suspicious transactions and safeguard customer information in line with bank policies.
• Support audits, cash counts, reporting requirements, and branch operational activities.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of banking experience in a teller, cashier, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cash handling and teller operations.
• Understanding of banking regulations, AML, KYC, and operational controls.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Should be flexible to work in both Morning and Evening shift based on business requirement

Preferred / Beneficial

• Experience in branch banking environments.
• Familiarity with digital banking products and channels.
• Sales referral or cross-selling experience.
• Knowledge of foreign currency and remittance transactions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
