Role Overview

As the Assistant Revenue Manager at Caravan Hatta by Our Habitas , you will play a key role in driving the property’s commercial performance through strategic revenue management, demand optimisation and effective pricing strategies.

Working closely with the Senior Director of Sales and the wider Our Habitas commercial team, you will be responsible for maximising revenue across rooms, accommodation packages, groups and other relevant revenue streams, while ensuring pricing and inventory strategies are aligned with market demand, business objectives and the unique positioning of Caravan Hatta.

As part of the pre-opening and commercial ramp-up, you will support the development of the property’s revenue strategy, forecasting and market positioning, helping establish Caravan Hatta as a leading experiential destination for leisure, groups, retreats and meaningful connections.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded revenue professional who combines strong analytical capability with a practical understanding of hospitality, enjoys working in a dynamic pre-opening environment, and is passionate about using data and market insight to drive commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Strategy & Optimisation

• Develop and implement the property’s revenue strategy in alignment with overall commercial, occupancy and profitability objectives.
• Establish pricing, inventory and yield strategies across relevant market segments and room categories.
• Monitor demand patterns, booking pace, pickup, cancellations, no-shows and market trends to identify revenue opportunities.
• Optimise rates and inventory based on demand, seasonality, market conditions and business needs.
• Support strategies for peak periods, need periods, special events, group demand and promotional activity.
• Identify opportunities to maximise ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and overall revenue performance.
• Ensure revenue strategies reflect the positioning and commercial objectives of Caravan Hatta and Our Habitas.

Forecasting, Budgeting & Business Intelligence

• Lead accurate and timely forecasting for occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and revenue performance.
• Support the annual budget and commercial planning process.
• Prepare regular revenue performance analysis and provide clear recommendations to the leadership team.
• Analyse historical performance, current booking trends, market conditions and forward-looking demand to inform commercial decisions.
• Monitor performance against budget, forecast and previous-year results, highlighting opportunities and risks.
• Maintain accurate revenue reports, dashboards and performance tracking.

Distribution & Channel Management

• Manage and optimise room availability, rate positioning and inventory across all relevant distribution channels.
• Monitor channel performance, contribution and cost of acquisition.
• Work closely with Reservations, Sales, Marketing and Distribution partners to ensure rate and inventory strategies are aligned.
• Review OTA, direct, wholesale, corporate and other channel performance and recommend appropriate actions.
• Ensure rate parity and accurate content across distribution channels.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen direct booking contribution and overall channel profitability.

Groups, Events & Commercial Strategy

• Partner closely with Sales to evaluate group, corporate, retreat, wellness and buyout opportunities from a revenue perspective.
• Provide pricing recommendations and displacement analysis for group enquiries and large-scale opportunities.
• Assess the impact of group bookings on overall inventory, demand and profitability.
• Support the commercial team in developing packages and offers that drive demand while protecting rate integrity.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to identify opportunities to stimulate demand during need periods.

Pre-Opening & Market Positioning

• Support the development and implementation of the pre-opening revenue strategy.
• Assist with market segmentation, competitive set identification, positioning and rate structure.
• Establish revenue management processes, reporting frameworks and commercial controls ahead of opening.
• Support the loading and testing of rates, packages, restrictions and inventory across relevant systems and channels.
• Monitor market activity and competitor pricing to ensure Caravan Hatta remains appropriately positioned.
• Contribute to launch strategies, opening offers and commercial activations.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing and Brand to ensure a coordinated commercial approach throughout pre-opening and ramp-up.

Collaboration & Commercial Leadership

• Work closely with the Senior Director of Sales and wider commercial team to align revenue and sales strategies.
• Partner with Marketing and Brand to assess the commercial impact of campaigns and promotional activity.
• Collaborate with Reservations and Operations to ensure revenue strategies are operationally achievable.
• Communicate revenue insights clearly to senior leadership, translating data into practical commercial actions.
• Build a strong revenue culture across the property, ensuring decisions are commercially informed and guest experience remains central.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Revenue Management , ideally within hotels, resorts, lifestyle hospitality or destination properties.
• Previous experience in a pre-opening or hotel opening environment would be highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of revenue management principles, forecasting, pricing, inventory management and distribution.
• Experience managing and interpreting P&L, budget, forecast, ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and other commercial KPIs .
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations.
• Experience with revenue management and hotel systems; familiarity with PMS, RMS, CRS and channel management systems is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the UAE hospitality and competitive landscape.
• Commercially astute with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence Sales, Marketing and Operations.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with multiple priorities.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.
