Job Summary
We are looking for a Road Safety Coordinator to manage and implement road and transport safety requirements, with a strong focus on IVMS data generation, monitoring and reporting . The candidate will be responsible for supporting HSE and transport safety activities and ensuring compliance with applicable road safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and implement Road Safety and Transport Safety requirements.
- Monitor and generate IVMS data and reports .
- Conduct HSE and Transport Safety inductions/orientations .
- Conduct HSE and road safety awareness sessions for workers.
- Understand and implement Journey Management Plans (JMP) .
- Support Transport/Road Safety Risk Assessments .
- Conduct vehicle inspections and check required safety devices.
- Implement Transport Emergency Response Plans and procedures .
- Prepare Road Safety awareness training materials .
- Maintain road safety and IVMS-related databases.
- Generate and review safety reports from IVMS or equivalent systems.
- Coordinate with HSE, transport and other relevant teams on road safety matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ADNOC road safety requirements and procedures .
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from an accredited higher-learning institution.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent , subject to ADNOC Group approval.
- Other HSE certifications may be considered as per ADNOC requirements.
- IVMS software expertise – Mandatory .
- Valid UAE Driving Licence – Mandatory .
- Additional HSE training/certifications will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of overall industry experience .
- Minimum 1 year of experience in managing/implementing Road Safety activities .
- Experience with IVMS data generation and reporting .
- Lead Road Safety Coordinator: Minimum 5 years of experience in managing road transport safety.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Road & Transport Safety .
- Understanding of H2S and Breathing Apparatus , where applicable.
- Ability to conduct vehicle safety inspections.
- Knowledge of Journey Management and emergency response procedures.
- Good report preparation and database management skills.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills .
- Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.
