Inspector Material

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inspector - Material to join our team in Dubai United Arab this critical role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in construction projects contributing to the overall success and safety of our operations.

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction materials both in the laboratory and on-site
• Review and document materials delivered to the site ensuring conformance with approved samples specifications and quality standards
• Prepare detailed inspection reports maintaining accurate records of all tests performed and work executed
• Collaborate with project managers and contractors to address any material-related issues or discrepancies
• Monitor proper storage and handling of materials on-site
• Assist in the preparation of punch lists and participate in the start-up testing and commissioning processes
• Review and provide recommendations on Requests for Information (RFIs) and variance requests from contractors
• Ensure compliance with local and international construction standards and safety regulations
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in material inspection
• Perform site condition inspections prior to the start of construction activities verifying compatibility with designed permanent works

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in a relevant technical field such as Civil Engineering Materials Science or Construction Management
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in laboratory materials testing and field inspection
• Proven experience in comparable construction projects
• In-depth knowledge of material testing standards and procedures
• Strong familiarity with quality control processes and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Proficiency in using testing equipment and related software
• Outstanding communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Experience working in the Middle East preferably in the UAE
• Willingness to work in various construction site conditions
• Valid certification in relevant material inspection standards (e.g. ASTM ISO) is a plus
