Apt Resources is seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior Chef specializing in Sushi to join the culinary team at a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will assist in preparing fresh and authentic sushi dishes adhering to the hotel’s high standards and guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of sushi and other Japanese dishes following established recipes and techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station to ensure hygiene and safety standards.
• Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation tasks.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality.
• Comply with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Help manage inventory and stock levels to avoid waste.
• Contribute positively to the kitchen team, demonstrating professionalism and teamwork.
• Stay up-to-date with sushi trends and culinary techniques.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or training in Japanese cuisine, particularly sushi preparation.
• Passion for food and a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
