Office Ergonomics – OT/PT

ETC is seeking Occupational Therapists (OT) and Physical Therapists (PT) to join our contractor network for office ergonomics assessments throughout the United States. Contractors perform individual workstation evaluations, deliver recommendations, and produce client‑facing reports.

Qualifications

• OT or PT licensure (required)
• Experience in workplace ergonomics assessment
• Ergonomics certification preferred (CEAS, CIE, CPE)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently at client sites

Automotive Ergonomist – Michigan, US (Contract / Full‑time)

Drive optimization of the worker interface by reducing and eliminating ergonomic issues associated with product, process, tooling, workstation design, and man‑assignment in an automotive manufacturing environment. The role delivers ergonomic expertise across assigned programs with a final deliverable covering Trim, Chassis, and Final workstation reviews.

Responsibilities

• Ergonomic risk identification, analysis, and resolution for high‑priority jobs
• Support productivity initiatives through elimination of non‑standard operations
• Review ergonomic impact of process and product changes
• WCM integration for Workplace Organization (MURI, MURA, MUDA)

Qualifications

• BS in ergonomics, human kinetics, kinesiology, or related field
• CPE certification preferred; not required
• 2+ years applying ergonomic principles in manufacturing
• Proficiency in MS Office and secondary ergonomic analysis techniques

Automotive Ergonomist – Mexico

Support automotive manufacturing operations in Mexico. Bilingual communication skills are required for this engagement, which includes collaboration with Spanish‑speaking operations teams and plant management.

Responsibilities

• Ergonomic risk identification, analysis, and resolution for high‑priority jobs
• Support productivity initiatives through elimination of non‑standard operations
• Review ergonomic impact of process and product changes
• Validate ergonomic guidelines and support WCM Workplace Organization integration
• Final review of Trim, Chassis, and Final workstations

Qualifications

• BS in ergonomics, human kinetics, kinesiology, or related field
• CPE certification preferred
• 2+ years in manufacturing ergonomics
• Proficient bilingual communication – English and Spanish (required)

Health & Safety Specialist – Canada (All Provinces)

Mid‑ to senior‑level Health and Safety Specialists – including CSPs, CIHs, and ACE Ergonomists – for contract work across all provinces of Canada.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years training experience in organized labor environments
• Canadian certification in Safety or Ergonomics (required)
• CSP, CIH, or ACE Ergonomist designation strongly preferred
• Willingness to travel within Canada
• Flexibility for a varied work schedule
• Location within reasonable proximity to a major airport

Safety & Ergonomics – United Arab Emirates (Long‑term)

Professionals with both a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) designation.

Requirements

• Active CSP certification (required)
• Active CPE certification (required)
• Experience in international or multi‑site safety and ergonomics programs
• Willingness to work on‑site in the UAE for extended periods
• Strong client communication and stakeholder management skills
