SPARE PARTS MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

SPARE PARTS MAINTENANCE ENGINEER is required by our Client, an Oil and Gas Contractor, to be assigned on a contract basis, located in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

STARTING DATE:     ASAP
DURATION:         2 years (renewable)
SCHEDULE:                Monday to Friday

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Determine with the Spare Part Team Leader the list of "Main equipment" for which spare parts dossiers will be established.
• Definition of mechanical spare parts for maintenance and operation.
• Spare parts definition & codification for SAP.
• Verification of the commissioning/start up, capital spare parts.
• Drawing up of optimized spare parts lists.
• Recover the list of recommended spare parts provided by suppliers, vendors or manufacturers under Company SPL forms as required in the purchase orders.
• Analyze the lists of spare parts provided for purchased equipment and/or packages.
• Liaise with the relevant entities (vendor, supplier, manufacturer, EPC contractor, Company...) to supplement, clarify or consolidate the collected information.
• Drawing up templates for material masters.

? QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• B.Sc Mechanical/Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering
• 5 / 10 years' experience in Maintenance field for oil & gas production installations
• Ability to work in a multinational team environment and in a client service-oriented relationship
• Competence/experience in the relevant specialties.
• Ability to assume responsibility and to interface and communicate efficiently with others
• Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to represent The Company and MIEC team in a professional manner during any meeting with the client.
• Computer literacy is required
• English and French - full professional proficiency (spoken, read, written)
