DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure ensuring its reliability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for various projects
- Ensure network security protocols are in place and adhered to
- Perform regular network monitoring testing and optimization
- Assist in the planning and implementation of network upgrades and expansions
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in English (C1) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- 5-7 years of experience in network engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
- Understanding of network switching concepts (e.g. Ethernet VLANs and network redundancy techniques).
- Familiarity with secure network technologies and traffic management (e.g. VPNs MPLS QoS).
- Ability to analyze network traffic using tools like packet analyzers.
- Understanding of application layer protocols (e.g. SNMP SMTP DNS DHCP).
- Experience with logging and monitoring protocols.
- Knowledge of network security practices and technologies (e.g. encryption firewalls and DDoS mitigation).
- Proficiency in working with Unix/Linux-based systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies and platforms.
- Knowledge of dynamic routing protocols and related technologies.
- Understanding of high-availability and network redundancy techniques.
- A bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry certifications or equivalent training.
