We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to accurately input, update, and maintain data in company databases and systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data from source documents into databases, spreadsheets, and company systems.
- Verify data accuracy and correct errors when identified.
- Review and update existing records as needed.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
- Generate reports and retrieve data upon request.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Perform regular data backups and record maintenance.
- Communicate with team members to resolve data discrepancies.
- Meet productivity and accuracy targets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in data entry, administration, or a related role (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and data management software.
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of database management systems.
- Experience with CRM or ERP software.
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
