Whiskers And Wags Vet Clinic is a leading veterinary clinic in Dubai dedicated to exceptional pet care. Alongside medical services, we offer grooming that prioritises health, hygiene, and happiness.
We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team. If you have a passion for animal care, clinical expertise, and a strong sense of empathy, we want to hear from you!
What this role is responsible for
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, surgeries, and diagnostics.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide post-operative care.
- Administer medications, and treatments as directed by the veterinary team.
Client Support
- Educate pet owners on preventative care, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions.
- Build trust and rapport with clients, and answer their questions and concerns professionally.
Operational Support
- Maintain accurate patient records, medical histories, and treatment details.
- Keep equipment and treatment areas clean, sterilised, and ready for use.
- Assist in inventory management for medical supplies.
Requirements
- 3 to 4 years experience in a veterinary nursing role, ideally within the UAE.
- Strong clinical knowledge and technical skills, including handling and restraining animals.
- Empathy and communication skills for both animals and their owners.
- Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
