POSITION SUMMARY

The St. Regis Downtown Dubai is seeking a charismatic and musically versatile Resident DJ to elevate the ambiance across its signature restaurants and lounges. The ideal candidate will bring a refined musical sensibility aligning with the brands luxury positioning while creating vibrant memorable experiences for our discerning guests. This role requires a deep understanding of mood-setting guest engagement and seamless integration of music into the dining journey.

No matter what position you are in there are a few things that are critical to success creating a safe workplace following company policies and procedures upholding quality standards and ensuring your uniform personal appearance and communications are professional. Our Experts will be on their feet and moving around (stand sit or walk for an extended time; moving over sloping uneven or slippery surfaces) managing the menu (read and visually verify information) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance; reach overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping). Doing all these things well (and other reasonable job duties as requested) is critical for Guest Service Support Experts to get it right for our guests and our business each and every time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Previous experience as DJ in a food and beverage environment preferred.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None

• Curate and perform live DJ sets tailored to the unique identity of each restaurant (e.g. brunch sunset sessions dinner ambiance themed nights).
• Collaborate with restaurant managers and marketing teams to align music programming with brand standards seasonal events and guest demographics.
• Maintain a dynamic and culturally relevant music library blending genres such as deep house chill-out jazz Afro-lounge and contemporary classics.
• Read the room and adjust music flow to enhance guest experience without overpowering conversation or dining ambiance.
• Set up operate and maintain DJ equipment and sound systems across multiple venues.
• Support special events private functions and brand activations with customized music sets.
• Ensure all performances reflect the elegance and sophistication of the St. Regis brand.
• Stay informed on global music trends and incorporate fresh sounds into regular programming.
• Represent the hotel professionally on social media and during public appearances if required.
