Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Structural Building Construction to join our organization in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive structural inspections throughout all phases of building construction projects. You will ensure compliance with UAE building codes, international standards, and project specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining organized documentation and thorough reporting practices.

• Conduct detailed structural inspections at various construction phases, including foundation, framing, and completion stages
• Verify compliance with UAE building codes, international construction standards, and project specifications
• Analyze structural components and construction methods to identify deficiencies, safety hazards, or deviations from approved plans
• Document inspection findings through comprehensive reports, photographs, and detailed notes
• Prepare and maintain organized inspection records, test results, and compliance documentation
• Communicate inspection results and recommendations to project managers, contractors, and engineering teams
• Perform on-site measurements and assessments using appropriate inspection tools and techniques
• Verify quality of materials, workmanship, and construction practices against established standards
• Investigate construction-related issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations throughout all inspection activities
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve construction deficiencies and ensure timely remediation

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in structural inspection, construction quality assurance, or related field
• Diploma or degree in civil/structural engineering
• Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and data organization
• Hands-on experience conducting site inspections and structural assessments
• Familiarity with construction management software and inspection tools
• Knowledge of safety regulations and construction site protocols
• Excellent communication skills with ability to document findings clearly and professionally
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection projects simultaneously
• Preferred: Knowledge of construction project management processes
