Chef De Partie - Bakery (Luxury Resort)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries breads and other baked goods ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.
• Collaborate with the head pastry chef to develop innovative recipes and seasonal menus.
• Manage the daily operations of the bakery section ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of excellence.
• Maintain inventory control including ordering and managing ingredients to ensure freshness and minimal waste.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bakery workstation while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Mentor and train junior bakers and kitchen staff fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Stay updated with current pastry trends and techniques to continue to elevate the resorts offerings.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or similar role specializing in Bakery.
• Culinary degree or relevant qualifications in pastry and baking preferred.
• Proven experience in high-end or luxury establishments is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques ingredients and food safety practices.
• Creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
