Job Description

The F&B Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet and ensuring the highest standards of guest service, product quality, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. The position supports the Outlet Manager in leading the team, maximizing guest satisfaction, controlling costs, and maintaining Fairmont standards.

• Supervise daily F&B operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and ensure proper outlet preparation.
• Deliver personalized guest service and handle guest concerns professionally.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop F&B colleagues.
• Allocate duties and monitor team performance, grooming, and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and other departments.
• Assist with cost control, stock management, inventory management, billing, and daily reporting.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper handling and storage of products.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene, health, safety, and hotel procedures.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and guest-focused working environment.
• Support the management team in achieving guest satisfaction, service excellence, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Food & Beverage experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leadership experience in F&B is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and beverage service operations.
• Experience in high-volume operations and an international hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage products and service standards.
• Excellent command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
