Software Build Manager

Responsibilities
- Define and oversee release baselines and configuration items across the full software lifecycle
- Standardize and enforce Git-based workflows including branching strategy and merge request governance
- Design, maintain, and harden CI/CD pipelines for reliability and security scanning integration
- Lead establishment of change management processes and documentation
- Create and maintain authoritative documentation for software functional and performance characteristics
- Communicate configuration risk and pipeline health to program leadership and government stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in software CI/CD release engineering (or 8+ years without degree)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring and administering GitLab environments
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
- Hands-on understanding of DevSecOps practices and pipeline security
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, or equivalent)
- Experience in RAISE DevOps environments or equivalent cloud delivery platforms
- Experience supporting Authorization to Operate (ATO) activities or RMF documentation
- Prior experience in software development or on a DoD program of record
