AC Technician

• Install maintain and repair air conditioning systems and related equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to avoid system breakdowns.

• Replace or repair defective parts such as compressors motors and thermostats.

• Test electrical circuits and components for safety and efficiency.

• Clean and inspect air filters coils and other components to maintain air quality.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.

• Coordinate with other technicians and departments to complete tasks efficiently.

Qualifications :

Your experience and skills include:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in HVAC preferred

• Relevant HVAC or refrigeration certification/license (e.g. EPA Section 608 certification)

• Proven experience in installation maintenance and repair of air conditioning systems

• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical components related to HVAC systems

• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in HVAC work

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and wiring diagrams

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Physical ability to handle equipment and work in various conditions

• Strong communication and customer service skills
