Web Developer
Client of Talentmate
The Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, ensuring functionality, performance, and user experience meet industry standards. This role involves front-end and back-end development, database management, and troubleshooting technical issues. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of programming languages, web frameworks, and best development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement website layouts and features.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services for enhanced functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve website functionality.
- Manage databases and server configurations to support web applications.
- Stay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies.
- Ensure websites follow security best practices and data protection guidelines.
- Provide technical support and updates to maintain website functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a web developer or similar role.
- Experience with back-end technologies such as PHP, Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with UI/UX principles and responsive design.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and web accessibility standards is a plus.
