Job Summary
Supervise process pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities at project site, ensuring safe execution, technical quality and delivery in line with the approved schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and lead technicians, operators and subcontractor teams for daily commissioning activities.
- Prepare work fronts, testing dossiers, drawings, procedures, tools, PPE, permits and toolbox talks before execution.
- Supervise chemical cleaning, leak testing, catalyst loading, steam/air blowing, inerting, package start-up, plant start-up and stabilization.
- Inspect systems for operational readiness and ensure LOTO, access control, barricading and SIMOPS controls are implemented.
- Guide plant operators and monitor flow, level, temperature and pressure to maintain stable operations without trips or shutdowns.
- Support DCS activities involving alarms, trips, logic, interlocks, permissives and overrides.
- Track progress, manpower and spare-part usage; identify constraints and recommend recovery actions.
- Interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams and control narratives accurately and maintain complete commissioning records.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, vendors and other disciplines to resolve site issues.

· Engineering degree or diploma in Chemical, Process or a related discipline.
· Minimum 12 years of Oil & Gas industry experience.
· Extensive field experience in process commissioning, plant start-up and stabilization.
· Demonstrated experience supervising large technical and subcontractor teams.
