Finance Manager - Abu Dhabi

A leading international organization based in Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead the end-to-end finance operations for one of its largest business units.

Reporting directly to senior finance leadership , you will lead a team of approximately 25 finance professionals while partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive business performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end finance operations function, overseeing AP, AR, GL, Treasury, and Financial & Management Reporting.
• Manage, coach and develop a team of approximately 25 finance professionals (~6 direct reports), driving performance and operational excellence.
• Act as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial leaders, providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
• Review commercial bids, proposals and contracts, assessing financial implications and contributing to customer and commercial discussions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, controls and operational efficiency.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain a strong internal control environment.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders across the business.
• Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives that support business growth and operational transformation.

Profile

• Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA) is mandatory .
• Big 4 background is preferred.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end finance operations within a complex, service-driven or industrial organization.
• GCC experience is mandatory.
• Strong technical accounting expertise combined with commercial acumen and business partnering experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading medium to large finance teams.
• Hands‑on, autonomous leader who is comfortable stepping beyond finance to understand business operations.
• Experience within engineering, industrial services, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure or other technically complex industries.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
