Bioinformatics Engineer — Biosecurity & Data AI (Unlimited PTO)

Latch is seeking a research engineer to shape the technical approach for teaching agents the boundary between legitimate biological research and biosecurity concerns. You will work from real protocols and datasets to establish ground truth for evaluations and build datasets to train agents to reason about dual-use protocols.
The role requires 5+ years in virology, microbiology, immunology, synthetic biology, or bioengineering, plus hands-on sequencing and molecular cloning experience, and
