Role Overview

The Senior Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple contracting projects ensuring efficiency compliance and alignment with strategic objectives. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong contracting experience who can drive operational excellence optimize resource utilization and support the successful delivery of civil infrastructure and luxury residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead and manage overall project operations ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Oversee planning execution and monitoring of project activities to achieve performance targets.
• Drive operational efficiency through process improvements and best practices.

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers engineers and site teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Monitor progress against schedules budgets and quality standards.
• Resolve operational challenges promptly to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to UAE regulations company policies and international standards.
• Implement transparent reporting and documentation in line with governance frameworks.
• Maintain strict compliance with health safety and environmental requirements.

Resource & Performance Management

• Optimize allocation of manpower equipment and materials across projects.
• Monitor KPIs and operational performance recommending corrective actions where necessary.
• Support value engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Team Leadership & Development

• Build and lead a high-performing operations team fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Provide mentorship and career development opportunities for operations staff.
• Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in operational processes.

Job Requirements

• Proven track record in senior operations management roles within contracting construction or infrastructure organizations.
• Strong expertise in project delivery resource management and operational efficiency.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE market dynamics construction practices and international standards.
• Strong leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project-driven environment with a focus on financial discipline and transparency.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or Business Administration; Masters degree or professional certification preferred.
