Press and Media Manager

SCOPE OF JOB:
The Press and Media Manager will be responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive press and media strategies that enhance the visibility and reputation of our Maison. Collaborating closely with the wider Communications Team, you will manage media relationships, drive media coverage, and ensure Hermes is portrayed in a manner consistent with our values and identity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement media strategies that align with the brand's goals and messaging, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative.
Foster and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure press coverage and feature placements.
Oversee the creation of compelling press releases, media kits, and other materials to effectively communicate the brand's news, collections, and initiatives.
Ensure the brand is accurately and positively portrayed in the media, maintaining brand integrity and brand consistency in media interactions.
Plan and execute media events, such as fashion shows, product launches, press conferences, and exclusive previews, to generate media interest, buzz, and comprehensive coverage.
Monitor media coverage and sentiment related to the brand, competitors, and industry trends, providing regular reports and actionable insights.
Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging multimedia content for media outreach, including visuals, videos, and infographics. Act as the brand's media spokesperson when necessary, representing the company professionally and effectively.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS
Successfully own all Press and Media activities in the Middle East.
Partner with the Communication team to achieve goals and continue to enhance our brand image.
The Press team (Media & Communication Executive, Press Executive and Press Assistant) achieve their targets and developed into their role and for future potential.
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in media relations, public relations, or a related role, with a strong portfolio of successful media campaigns, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.
Extensive network of media contacts and influencers.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
