What you'll be doing

We are looking for an experienced Retail Director to lead the next chapter of growth for Tanagra, our luxury home and lifestyle destination.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially driven retail leader who can combine strategic vision with strong operational execution, while delivering an exceptional luxury customer experience across our markets. Your responsibilities will be to:

• Own and deliver the brand’s retail strategy, annual business plan, budgets and commercial targets
• Lead overall retail performance across sales, profitability, margin and key financial KPIs
• Shape the retail network and identify opportunities for growth, optimization, new openings, renovations and portfolio development
• Partner closely with brand principals and key stakeholders to drive sustainable growth across the region
• Lead and develop high-performing retail leadership teams, building strong succession and talent pipelines
• Use customer, competitor and market insights to identify opportunities and translate them into clear commercial action plans
• Collaborate across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce, Supply Chain and other functions to deliver a consistent omnichannel experience
• Champion operational excellence and elevate the luxury customer experience across every touchpoint

  What you’ll need to succeed

• Significant senior leadership experience within a luxury environment
• Strong commercial and P&L ownership, with proven experience managing sizeable retail businesses
• Experience leading multi-store and ideally multi-market retail operations
• Strong understanding of luxury retail, client experience and customer expectations
• Proven ability to develop retail strategies and translate them into measurable commercial results
• Strong people leadership with experience leading and developing senior retail teams
• Confident working with international brand principals and senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical, budgeting, forecasting and decision-making capabilities
• Experience within luxury home, interiors, jewelry, fashion or another high-touch luxury category would be highly relevant

This role would suit a commercially sharp, hands-on leader who understands that luxury retail is as much about people, relationships and experience as it is about performance.
