Structural Draftsman

As a Structural Draftsman at IRTH, your primary responsibility will be to create detailed structural shop drawings and assist in the management of documentation for our innovative building solutions.

Technical Requirements

• Prepare detailed structural Revit model and generate shop drawings through this model, including plans, sections, and elevations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Experienced to work with BIM, Autodesk ACC, and model collaboration.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers and architects to develop accurate models and drawings.
• Revise construction documents based on engineer feedback and project updates.
• Maintain an organized filing system for drawings and project documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
• Ensure timely completion of drafting assignments according to project schedules and deadlines.
• Utilize Revit and CAD software for rapid drafting and design iteration.

Qualifications Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in structural drafting within the construction or engineering consultancy sectors.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other 3D software is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects.
• Effective communication abilities to liaise with engineers, architects, and other team members.
