Controls Supervisor

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controls Supervisor / Steam Turbine Controls Specialist to support a short-term start-up assignment at an onshore plant in the UAE. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with steam turbine control systems, particularly Woodward 505DR and ProTech G2, and will support the safe and successful start-up of the turbine.
Key Responsibilities
- Support steam turbine start-up activities
- Work with the Woodward 505DR turbine control system
- Work with the Woodward ProTech G2 overspeed protection system
- Perform controls checks, testing, and troubleshooting
- Support commissioning and operational teams during start-up
- Identify and resolve control-system issues as required
Requirements
- Strong experience with steam turbine controls
- Hands-on experience with Woodward 505DR
- Experience with Woodward ProTech G2
- Previous turbine commissioning or start-up experience
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
- Previous petrochemical, oil & gas or power generation site experience preferred
