Site Engineer

Construction and infrastructure projects in Dubai offer an opportunity for a technically capable Site Engineer to coordinate field activities, monitor work progress, and help ensure construction work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities at the assigned construction site.
Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions before execution.
Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, technicians, and site workers.
Monitor construction progress against project schedules and planned milestones.
Inspect completed and ongoing work to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
Identify technical or site-related issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
Verify that materials delivered to site meet project requirements.
Assist with site measurements, quantity checks, and work inspections.
Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams regarding quality and safety requirements.
Maintain daily site records, progress updates, inspection requests, and technical documentation.
Report delays, variations, material requirements, and other site concerns to project management.
Attend coordination meetings and communicate work priorities to site teams.
Ensure construction activities follow approved methods and applicable safety procedures.
Support testing, commissioning, handover, and completion activities when required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant engineering discipline.
Previous site or construction experience is an advantage.
Freshers with relevant engineering qualifications may also apply.
Good understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and site coordination.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office is an advantage.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple site activities and meet deadlines.
Good knowledge of quality and workplace safety practices.
Professional approach and ability to work effectively with site teams.
UAE/GCC construction experience is an advantage.
